Are all positions advertised externally?
Most are advertised externally. Parmalat is a Company that strives to continue to build a strong engaged team; this includes advertising vacant positions both internally and externally in most instances. What should I bring to the interview?
We should have your resume but you are encouraged to bring any extra material that may support your application. If you have a work visa please bring that for validation and any other qualification/certificates that are required for the role. Copies will be taken of these.
What if I am asked to have a medical or provide referees?
Medicals and reference checks are part of the recruitment and selection process for candidates who have reached this stage of the process but it does not mean you have the job. There may be other candidates who have reached this stage too and a decision will be made once we have assessed all information.
When can I expect to hear about my application?
When you apply you should receive a response automatically, advising that we have received your application and will be in touch within 2 weeks of the closing date, should you be successful in being selected for interview. If you do not hear from us again, please consider yourself unsuccessful on this occasion. We thank you for your application and interest in working with Parmalat.
Is it important that I have all the skills listed in the ad?
If the skills are listed as essential you must have them to be successful in being selected for interview. If the skills are listed as desirable they will help your application but are not a prerequisite.
When will you contact my referees?
We will seek your approval before any referees are contacted. This will usually take place after your second interview.
