Some of the mushroom style caps are failing when they are used to reseal the pouch, which may result in the top of the cap coming away. This poses a potential choking hazard due to its size.
This recall is related to the packaging only, not the yoghurt itself. The product is expected back on the shelf over the coming days as the faulty caps are being replaced with a new design that does not have the same issue when resealing.
Consumers with any of the products listed above should return it to the place of purchase for a full cash refund. We encourage any consumers with questions about the recall to get in touch with our customer service team on 1800 676 961. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Parmalat is greatly concerned by any risk to its consumers. This food safety recall is being undertaken to ensure the safety of our consumers as an ongoing commitment to maintain the highest possible standards of safety and product quality at all times.
